Eric Levallois has been involved in the world of horses since he was very young, surrounded by his parents Germain and Micheline Levallois, founders of the Semilly stud farm. He has had an international career marked by some of the best prize winners. From the very beginning, he will be trained with Bianca Maria, Nelson Pessoa and Jos Kumps and will accumulate many titles and victories with his horses.
His sporting career took on a new dimension in 1994 with the acquisition of the Haras de Beaufour and the arrival of Diamant de Semilly in his stables.
After having acquired two titles of European Champion junior and young rider and a title of Senior French Champion, Eric achieves in 2002 the double by taking the titles of World Champion by team and individual French Champion with Diamant de Semilly. The following year will be crowned with the title of Vice-Champion of Europe by team.
Eric Levallois has always had a passion for breeding, and in 1995 he created the Beaufour breeding farm. Benefiting from the family experience and his career as a rider and trainer, the Beaufour breeding has become a reference.
A visionary, he knew how to mix the different international strains of show jumping horses in order to give birth to ever more performing horses.
Right after the World Equestrian Games, Eric met Sheika Latifa Al Maktoum and her brother Sheik Rashid Al Maktoum, and began a close collaboration that would add a coaching role to the rider's career. He then devotes the majority of his time to his two new students, allowing them to reach an international level and to obtain participations in the Olympic and World Games as well as medals at the Asian Games.
Today, strengthened by this experience, Eric adds to his international reputation as a rider that of a coach and has since welcomed many riders who are currently riding on international circuits.
